Maybe as an option, but that kind of constraint would be a cage I wouldn't really find helpful if I happened to have some scale or mode selectd. Just my 2 cents.
Some way to route quantizing into an interval seq for constraining purposes could be neat, but hope for the modules to be kept as atomic as possible.

Yes, but it has fallen down the list a bit. If I remember correctly, my last thoughts on this were something like this:

> Add a 'quantization mode' param, w/ 3 values:
- Display Only: Notes in scale are highlighted in some way, no quantization on output -- you can easily mix in-scale notes and accidentals.
- Quantize Output: Notes in scale are highlighted in some way, all notes quantized on output.
- Quantize UI: Notes in scale are highlighted in some way, and the UI forces you to only use those notes.

I'm also planning on:

> A new menu item for 'key' -- quantization would then be based on that value instead of the 'base note' value.
