Having a weirdness, seems to be a bug.
1. Create new project. 2. Create a Preset with a fixed Rate (1/8 ), no Mod sequence 3. Copy the Preset to a second preset 4. In the second Preset, use a Mod Seq to modulate Rate. ( rate of Mod Seq 1-> 4W) I play the first Preset, switch to the second, let it run for awhile When I switch back to the first Preset, it's Rate is now /64. Which sounds kinda kewl, but not what I want in that moment ![]() I can work around by always having a Mod sequence on Rate (holding it fixed in the first preset) but seems like a bug to me. In addition, i notice when I have a sequence with Rate modulation, the sequence seems to store whatever Rate it's at when it stops, rather than resetting to the initial Rate. So upon restarting, it runs for a bit at the that rate, until it reaches the next step of the Mod seq. Makes restarting a sequence a bit unpredictable when modulating Rate. |

This may be fixed in 1.0.10, which you can get here:
http://www.five12.net/showthread.php?p=17378#post17378 .... but I will be sure to test this case specifically as soon as I get back from Synthplex this weekend. Cheers, Jim |

I just checked with FW 1.0.10 and this does seem to be fixed. Next up in this area: displaying rate values in ModSeqs in a readable fashion (e.g. '/16th' instead of '9').
