Default Chord Sequencer - Borrowed/Passing Chords

The chord sequencer is great except that it confines you to a single key. Usually when working through chord progressions, people step out of a key momentarily while working their way to the next target chord within the current key. What would be great is: at each step in the sequence if I could dictate the key for that step and not be confined by the 'KEY' master setting on the left hand side of the sequencer.

I'm not a music major so I'm not sure if I'm expressing myself clearly?

You can automate the key, or set the chord seq to receive midi transpose and set the key for each step/chord by inserting a note seq to control that.

Ideally, setting the scale to 'chromatic' would allow placement of chords on any of the notes. This would fix all sorts of edge-cases.

The 'chromatic' setting kind of confuses me in that I'm still only offered chord choices from a single key. My lack of formal education is a definite drawback!

I never thought of modulating the Key setting - it adds complexity but it does sound do-able. Thanks for that suggestion.
