Default Is it possible to use the Groove Clock in the VST?

It seems like it's not from trying it, but I'd imagine most people are using Numerology for dance music and would find it important. If not, can it be made to?

It should work -- so feel free to email me a project (I'm assuming Ableton) if not. You'll have to manually re-route the clock signal in the routing tab.

HOWEVER: I generally recommend against it, as you can get everything it does using either alternative rate modes (esp. "%" and "speed") and/or groove settings on the sequencer. -- If I'm missing something, let me know...

Cheers,
Jim

I did a bit of testing, and it does indeed work. It appears something weird got baked into the stack I was testing with, which may also be causing the crashes I've been having (pure speculation based on your mention of it calling a timing library when it segfaults.) I'll let you know if I keep having problems with new stacks.

Could you expand on that please Jim?

And indeed, it works pretty nicely here. Nice not to have to use less immediate workarounds to use custom grooves.
